N6547 is a highly potent GSNOR inhibitor with drug characteristics that allow for oral, inhaled and topical treatment in a variety of inflammatory diseases (e.g. inflammatory bowel disease, uveitis or eczema).
Oral administration of N6547 has been found to decrease the severity of disease in both preventative and therapeutic mouse models of inflammatory bowel disease (IBD).
